This is the first conference centre in Bulgaria, built in "St.Constantine and Elena" resort in 1968 by the Union of scientists to host scientific conferences and meetings and as a recreation complex for members and guests.

With an overall area of 24600 m2, including the park, the "Fr. Joliot-Curie" Conference Centre offers:

• Large reception halls (120 m2);

• Five conference rooms (seating 300, 160, 80, 60 and 30 participants);

• Office space;

The complex can accommodate a gathering of up to 300 participants, or several smaller simultaneous meetings. Full standard equipment is available and can be put into use according to your demands and needs: furnished meeting rooms, loud speaker and conference systems, recording facilities, projection equipment, simultaneous translation equipment, dia and overhead projectors, video recording and players.

Some of the possibilities are: 

• One of the halls can be divided in two by a movable wall;

• The reception halls can be adapted for exhibitions, poster sessions and the like.

• Different arrangements in the meeting rooms.

The hotel has 96 double and single rooms and 2 apartments.
Every room has a WC with douche, standard furnishing with two beds, desk, wardrobe, refrigerator, TV, balcony. International telephone line is available through the Reception desk.

A main restaurant sitting 200 persons is open for the guests. Five additional restaurant rooms can be put into service as needed and bring the total sitting capacity up to 400 diners. They offer meals ranging from simple dishes to sophisticated menus. The possibilities for food and refreshment include the Lobby bar, a cafe-panorama and a catering service for your cocktails, receptions and meals served in the restaurants or buffet-style in the meeting rooms.

In the main lobby of the Conference Centre or through the chief administrator, the "Fr. Juliet-Curie" Centre of scientists offers all general services essential for the welfare, comfort and safety of the visitor:

• Change bureau;

• Information about the nearest post office;

• Tourist information and reservation (hotels, trips, car-rental, bus, train and plane schedules from Varna, other arrangements);

• First-aid emergency;

• Various service offerings such as shops, barbers';

The "Fr. Joliot-Curie" Centre of scientists offers additionally:

• A medical center with physiotherapy and a mineral water pool in the basement;

• A beach, open in summer, 80 m from the main building, with open snack-bar, mineral water douche, life-guards.

       A fine natural park, clean and calm sea and beaches, warm mineral springs - this is the natural wealth of "St. Constantine and Elena" resort, the first Bulgarian Black sea resort. It has 13 hotels, holiday villages, private lodgings, restaurants, cafes, taverns and snack bars. The resort offers plenty of sports and recreation facilities. Both its charm and its tradition have made it a resort with a warm welcome for the tourist. The resort offers additional conference facilities for about 400 participants.

It is not only enjoyable to come to "St. Constantine and Elena", but it is also very easy to get there thanks to its position on the major Black sea traffic artery, 20 km north of Varna airport, the railway station and seaport.
