Evidence for the presence of the Big Five Model in the Bulgarian Culture Aneliya Mitkova (Abstact)
The
study reported below was designed to investigate the presence of the Big Five
Model of personality in the Bulgarian culture. This paper describes the whole
research process starting from establishing relevant trait names for a complex
description of personality to the evidence obtained for the Big Five Model in
this particular culture. Without aiming at a complete and final model
specification, this study is focused on the experimental research of the most
appropriate and eligible trait names for personality description. The results
obtained so far certified the evidence of 4 of the 5 factors of the Big Five
Model. |
