Restructuring of the Big Companies – a Factor for Growth and Stability

Abstract

          This paper presents an empirical study of the structures of the various great companies, competitive success of organizations that are worked in the sphere of the computer technologies and Internet, of the fast food, of the trade with beverages and of the electrical engineering based on the Multex Investment Inc’s strategic data. Drawing on a large scale survey of organizational characteristics and structures in large European, Indian and US firms. We map the emergence, diffusion and adaptation of new organizational structures. It is also found out that there factors, that determinate the type of the high levels departmentalizing as will as the grouping of the positions in division with different kind of structure. The results indicate, that there exist a connection between the degree of globalization and the structure at organization of the high levels in the companies. We have shown, the basis changes in the present structure of organizations, as well as the main reasons that determinate the existence of the lack of them.
