Organization profile
Not for profit organization
representative of a national network of industries and most important public
research institutions.
Its main activities are
related to monitor and assess R&D trends and applications, disseminate
information, promote the cooperation between public research and industry,
inform decision-makers for implementing effective R&D policies and actions,
foster a responsible R&D. To this end, report, studies, survey, position
papers, events are used. Nanotechnology is a specific target of the action.
The organisation is
experienced in EU project (Specific Support Actions), often as coordinator.
Role in the project

Analysis
and assessment of nanotechnology S&T and related issues (policies,
regulation, environment, health and safety issues, ethical, legal and societal
aspects).

Engagement
of industry, public research, national civil society organisations in debates
and survey.
· Dissemination activities
(meetings, public debates, other events, publications, ecc)
