Short Profile of Organisation: The
Centre for Bioethics is a centre for academic excellence in bioethics. It was
set up by university Professors in order to have a base from which to
participate in international project; to have a centre to study local and
international contemporary bioethical issues, and to impart courses to health
care professionals on research ethics, medical law, and bioethics. It also serves to give
advice to patients and professionals on a free basis. It is a not-for-profit
